Principal Investigator
Emily Ricketts, Ph.D.
Dr. Ricketts is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences. Her research centers on sleep and circadian disturbance and associated interventions in children, adolescents, and young adults with Tourette's disorder, ADHD, OC-related disorders, and anxiety disorders, in addition to predictors of adolescent sleep health and associated interventions.
Staff Clinical Research and Program Coordinator
Maya Tooker, B.S.
Maya is presently staff research coordinator for SCAI Lab. She has been a member of the lab since joining as an undergraduate student neuroscience major in 2019. Her research interests include neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Tourette’s disorder as well as how biological sex, co-occurring conditions, and cultural upbringing affect psychiatric diagnosis and symptom presentation.

Rekha Serransingh
Rekha is currently a third-year undergraduate at UCLA majoring in Biology has been a member of the lab since 2025. Her research interests include interventions for sleep problems.

Hannah Pon
Hannah joined SCAI lab in her junior year at UCLA. She graduated in 2024 and plans to attend medical school.

Dahlia Kirov
Dahlia recently graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Physiological Psychology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. She serves as a research assistant for SCAI Lab, as well as a senior research assistant for UCLA's Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills, where she supports clinical research studies on child, adolescent, and adult psychopathology. Her research interests include co-occurring psychiatric conditions in pediatric populations, as well as evidence-based transdiagnostic supports for children experiencing mental health challenges.

Wyatt Lewis
Wyatt is an undergraduate research assistant for SCAI Lab since winter quarter of his junior year (2026). His research interests include cancers, such as Breast and Ovarian, and neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer’s Disease and Huntington’s Disease.

Derek Dell'Angelica
Derek graduated from Santa Monica College with AA degrees in Psychology and General Sciences in 2023. He is an undergraduate student majoring in psychology, with interests in pursuing graduate studies in circadian and sleep neuroscience.

Katie Adamick
Katie is an undergraduate research assistant in SCAI Lab. She is a fourth year undergraduate student, majoring in Psychology and History with a minor in Brain and Behavioral Health. Her research interests include anxiety disorders, pediatric OCD, eating disorders, and body image.

Arshdeep Singh
Arshdeep is an undergraduate student at UCLA on the pre-med track. He is currently an undergraduate research assistant for SCAI lab. His research interests include ADHD and learning disabilities.
